Blue Ridge Waste was founded by Tim and Lynn Allen in 2017. Tim had spent many years in the waste industry, working for one of the largest waste companies in the world. He took the knowledge and expertise he gained and opened Blue Ridge Waste with a focus on customer service. Together the husband-and-wife team worked hard to build a reputation of great customer service in the Morganton area. In 2023, the Allens decided it was time to retire, and the company was purchased by Travis Watford.
Travis had previously built a successful waste business in the Charlotte market and shared the same “customer first” mentality that the Allens developed Blue Ridge Waste with, so it was a great match! Since then, Travis and the team have worked hard to grow the business, while still maintaining a level of service above and beyond competitors.
